Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities1. Supervise a work group to assure production of products/services meets daily production schedules.
2. Ensure company safety policy is followed.
3. Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and that all employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
4. Ensure communication of objectives, programs, policies and that team members are familiar with their authority, responsibilities, and objectives.
5. Ensure achievement of objectives relating to personnel management, personnel safety, product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling.
6. Oversee training of new employees in proper performance of line tasks.
7. Complete production reports and payroll responsibilities as required.
8. Through leadership, training and effective role modeling, personally ensure that all team members understand and use the Charter, Employee Handbook, Managing Principles and Team Commitment to increase a participatory environment of working together for mutual benefit.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $59,025 - $82,625 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
Other components of Hormel Foods' total compensation package includes comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, discretionary annual merit increases, bonuses and profit sharing, 401 (k) with employer match, stock purchase plan, relocation assistance, paid vacation, FREE two-year community/technical college tuition for children of employees, and more.
Employees with less than eighteen (18) months in their current position are required to gain approval from their current business unit vice president or plant manager to be considered a qualified candidate. This approval should be attached documents below.
