Position Overview & Responsibilities
The Ahamed Lab , in the Cardiovascular Biology Research Program is seeking a motivated and talented Postdoctoral Scientist to study the role of TGF-beta in organ fibrosis and cardiovascular disease. This position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of molecular signaling, vascular biology, and translational medicine. Our research is grounded in a strong foundation of published work (Antioxid Redox Signal, 2021 [PMID: 34619980]; AIDS, 2020 [PMID: 32167970]; Blood Adv, 2019 [PMID: 30846427]; Blood, 2012 [PMID: 22134166]). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Designing and conducting in vitro and in vivo experiments related to TGF-beta signaling pathways.
Analyzing data using relevant molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques.
Collaborating with lab members and external partners to advance project goals.
Preparing manuscripts, figures, and presentations for publication and scientific meetings....
