Job Description Summary The Lead Process Engineer for the final machining area has responsibility for all aspects of the manufacturing elements required to finish machine blade and vane components of gas turbine engines. There will be ownership of projects related to these processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and manufacturing productivity. The role requires cross-functional team involvement to solve issues and make long term plans for improvements. This role has a people leader element for a small group of advanced machine technicians as well as project leadership. The final machining areas consist of NC mills, Inspection technologies, Automation systems for pick and place, Lead edge profile systems, manual benching, and dot marking systems (list is not all encompassing).
