What Your Job Will Be Like We are a seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and conscientious year-round undergraduate student intern to support an exciting experimental materials science project. On any given day, you may be asked to: Learn and assist with the synthesis and processing of novel materials for magnetic and ferroelectric composites via physical or chemical processes Learn and assist with electron microscopy and electron microscopy sample preparation Learn and assist with testing magnetic material properties Learn and assist with data collection, data analysis, computer/electronic interfacing, and/or computer modeling Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and responsibly in a research team, and contribute towards a safe and secure laboratory working environment Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
