What Your Job Will Be Like We are seeking a year round electrical engineering intern to support research in advanced RF communications and mechanical transduction technologies for power and data transmission and sensing. On any given day, you may be called on to: Support research staff to develop novel actuation and/or communication devices and methods Perform research related to piezoelectric and magnetostrictive actuators Characterize devices and systems and develop technology demonstrations Analyze data and document results (in reports or journal papers) Become familiar with selected novel devices and develop practical laboratory skill Salary Range At Sandia, we value the important work done by our interns and its contribution to National Security.
