What Your Job Will Be Like We are a seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and conscientious Graduate Summer Intern to support an exciting experimental project in semiconductor reliability physics. The intern will join a team focused on evaluating the reliability and robustness of Gallium Nitride (GaN) power devices for next-generation power electronics applications. On any given day, you may be called upon to: Design and execute electrical testing of GaN power devices using high-voltage testing equipment. Characterize reliability mechanisms, including hot carrier degradation, dynamic on-resistance, and bias temperature instability. Investigate permanent failure modes and accelerated aging mechanisms under various electrical and thermal stress conditions. Analyze large datasets to extract lifetime models and failure rates. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and responsibly in a research team and contribute towards a safe and secure laboratory working...
