What Your Job Will Be Like Sandia's Environments Engineering Department is seeking a Technical Library Intern to help organize, curate, and improve accessibility of historical test data and related technical records. This role supports engineering teams that analyze this information for design purposes. You will work with engineers and technical librarians to inventory legacy datasets, standardize metadata, and enable efficient retrieval and reuse of test results. On any given day, you may be called on to: Assist with inventory and organize historical test artifacts (digital files and, when applicable, paper records) including test plans, run logs, sensor/diagnostic outputs, calibration records, photos/video, and summary reports. Perform the extraction and cataloging of test metadata (e.g., test dates, conditions, configurations).
