Summary This Maintenance Mechanic position is in Facilities Management Services at the VA Bedford Healthcare System located at the Bedford, MA location. This position is a full time 40 hour a week. Duties Help Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reports to and is accountable to the maintenance supervisor for the quality and quantity of work performed by the work unit. Works assigned shifts outside of routine operating hours. Acts within general instructions and standard procedures set forth by the engineering manager. Performs a variety of preventive maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofing and other related trades required in maintenance and repair of buildings, structures, fixtures, and related property.
