Summary The Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic position is in the Facility Management Service at the VA Maine Healthcare System located at the Augusta, ME location. This position is full time at 40 hours per week. Duties Help The purpose of the Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic position is to perform duties involved in the inspection, repair, overhaul, services and maintains a variety of complex air conditioning, refrigeration, medical air and vacuum systems. Duties includes, but are not limited to: Responsibility in managing and determining appropriate response to take in case of breakdown/malfunctions that require determinations of immediate action. Monitors and evaluates effectiveness (including safety, infection control, etc.) of work performed by contractors.
