What Your Job Will Be Like We are seeking an Intern Year Round - R&D Undergraduate to join our team! Under the guidance of a mentor and laboratory staff & scientists, you will perform various chemical treatments of natural and synthetic minerals, templated oxides, and metal-organic-frameworks. In this role, you will set up and sample batch experiments, perform analytical work on aqueous and solid samples, and assist in routine laboratory maintenance tasks, such as submitting waste disposal and re-application requests. On any given day, you may be called on to: Set up batch reactor experiments. Collect and preserve aqueous and solid samples. Run analytical instruments, such as ICP-MS, UV-vis, FT-IR. Conduct work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Present results to your supervisor.
