CORE MISSION: Field Technicians are responsible for the research, investigation, control, collection and establishment of information in the field. As part of a land surveying team, Field Technicians use their training, education, and experience to contribute to all stages of project delivery. REQUIREMENTS An associate or bachelor's degree in geomatics, civil engineering, or related field is preferred. Certified Survey Technician (CST) credential is beneficial. SKILLS & UNDERSTANDING Proficiency with data collection instruments such as GPS, total stations, scanners, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Competency in research, calculations, control, and interpreting construction documents and specifications. Capability to perform technical reviews, follow quality assurance plans and execute quality control processes.
