Duties: Supervise a Sow Farm and related personnel including day-to-day tasks of the farm, ensuring production targets are met, and supervising farm employees. Manage the research and control of animal selection, breeding practices to increase production efficiency and improve animal quality. Ensure the care and conditioning of sows on the farm. Direct the breeding and raising of swine using recognized breeding practices. Supervise swine examinations to identify diseases. Ensure standard operating procedures are followed and facilities are in good working condition. Meet daily and weekly production targets. Collect and record production data. Complete and submit production analysis reports in a timely manner. Submit orders for farm supplies and maintenance needs. Monitor breeding and grading to ensure adherence to safety regulations or standards. Create and manage employee work schedules.
