Overview: Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday   Primary Location: West Ashley Diagnostic 1975-H Magwood Road Charleston, SC 29414   This position may occasionally provide coverage at: Tricom Diagnostic Imaging 2851 Tricom Street North Charleston, SC 29406     Responsibilities: Complete scans effectively and efficiently: Collect pertinent data about the patient and the procedure Select the most appropriate, cost-effective action plan after reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patient’s abilities and condition Screen the patient for ferrous and RF-sensitive material before the patient enters the magnetic field Position and prepare patients for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures Select appropriate immobilization devices Review the patient’s chart and the physician’s request to determine optimal scanning parameters for the suspected pathology Prepare and administer contrast agents in accordance with state and federal regulations Enter necessary...
