Requisition Id 16260 Overview: The Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health group within the Environmental Sciences Division (ESD) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), is seeking an aquatic ecologist focused on fisheries and data science to support research on the interactions between energy infrastructure, especially hydropower systems, and aquatic ecosystems. This position focuses on applying advanced geospatial, statistical, and quantitative approaches to fisheries, hydrological, and ecological data to improve understanding of how hydropower operations influence fish populations, movement, survival, and habitat use.
