Description Middle School - In-House Substitute Teacher/Homework Club Facilitator
Nueva School is seeking a self-motivated individual to serve as an in-house substitute teacher/homework club facilitator for the middle school division at the school. The in-house substitute teacher's work typically centers on implementing lesson plans in a range of classrooms, supervising recesses and lunchtimes, and supporting other staff on projects or other duties when not in the classroom.
This role supports students in grades 5–8 during after-school homework time, providing supervision, academic guidance, and a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, enjoys working with middle school students, communicates effectively with colleagues, and brings experience with classroom or group management.
