What Your Job Will Be Like We are seeking an Electronic Fabrication Trades Apprentice On any given day, you may be called on to: Plan, layout, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, repair, test, calibrate and inspection of a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment utilizing engineering principles in support of a research and development, and/or complex production prototyping environment. You will receive hands on training in soldering, complex cabling and harnessing, Printed wire assemblies, PWA, PCB, magnetics, electromechanical assembles, rack systems and tester fabrication learning and display a high level of proficiency in all areas. As a condition of employment, Metals Trades positions are represented by the Metal Trades Council (MTC) and represented employees must pay the monthly membership dues or agency fee.
