Position Summary

This is the third level of the Nuclear Materials Specialist classification hierarchy and the career level for warehouse operations teammates. Employees at this level are very experienced and work with limited levels of supervision. Examples include new hires with high level of supply chain / warehouse operations experience or employees who have gained experience while working in NMS I and NMS II hierarchy.

Responsibilities

• NMS-II duties
• Processing stock-to-stock and Affiliate transfers
• Planning / processing physical inventory transactions
• Interacting with Supply Chain customers as needed (issue counter, planning meetings, represent Supply Chain on assigned teams, etc.)

Required/Basic Qualifications (Nuclear Materials Specialist II)

• High School/GED degree
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Valid driver's license

Desired Qualifications

• Experience utilizing NAS system
• Previous nuclear warehousing experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to effectively search the materials catalog to identify supply chain system catalog IDs
• Ability to execute all warehouse operations transactions including pick/issue, receive and/or physical inventory / materials.
• Self-motivated and able to work productively with limited direct supervision
• Anticipates, responds and follows up effectively to customers' request, which may include inquires received in person, via phone and/or in writing
• Excellent communication skills including ability to effectively interact with a wide range of contacts including management, employees, and external customers
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to constantly changing conditions, such as time pressures
• Working knowledge of the overall customer operations fundamentals and principals of nuclear generating stations equipment and processes
• Working knowledge of NAS applications
• Three to five years operations experience and/or warehousing experience

Working Conditions

• Onsite Mobility Classification - Work will be performed at a company facility. On-site employees are also required to live within a reasonable daily commute to their assigned work location, not greater than 50 miles one way.
• Warehouse and outside environments including all weather conditions and possibly extreme temperatures
• Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, pulling, climbing ladders
• Participate on rotating week or weekend on-call schedule and/or occasional overtime and emergency call-out for unscheduled outages
• Weekend coverage if required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to arrive at required location promptly once called for emergency call-out when scheduled for on-call duty during nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Willing to travel as a shared resource within any business unit in support of any business need deemed necessary by Supply Chain Leadership.

Specific Requirements

• Maintain valid driver's license, fork truck certification and all assigned training (safety, environmental, ethics, etc.)
• Ability to obtain CDL license if required
