Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Relocation Coordinator to support office relocations, seating changes, workspace transitions, and facility consolidations for a federal facilities program. This individual will develop move plans, coordinate stakeholders and vendors, track schedules and risks, and help ensure relocations are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office relocations, workspace transitions, seating changes, and consolidations.
  • Develop move plans, schedules, checklists, relocation scenarios, and risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Gather and validate personnel, seating, furniture, equipment, and space requirements.
  • Coordinate activities with Government personnel, facilities teams, GSA, vendors, movers, and other stakeholders.
  • Support site visits, pre-move assessments, furniture coordination, and post-move closeout.
  • Track schedules, budgets, risks, action items, dependencies, and completion status.
  • Maintain relocation documentation and prepare status reports and briefings.
  • Update project information in ServiceNow or other designated facilities-management systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of relevant relocation, move-management, facilities, workplace-planning, or project-coordination experience.
  • Active project management certification required.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent moves or workplace projects.
  • Strong scheduling, organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to reside within the National Capital Region and report to Springfield and Alexandria, Virginia, as required.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to satisfy DHS background and facility-access requirements.
