What You'll Do

As a BMW Journeyperson Technician, you'll use your technical experience to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately while meeting BMW and Walser standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and vehicle performance concerns
• Perform maintenance and repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications
• Complete complex mechanical and diagnostic repairs based on your experience and certifications
• Inspect assigned vehicles and identify additional safety, maintenance, or repair needs
• Communicate promptly with Service Advisors when additional work is needed or repair timelines change
• Accurately document all inspections, diagnoses, repairs, and completed work
• Utilize TruVideo and dealership estimating tools to provide customers with a transparent service experience
• Participate in BMW manufacturer-sponsored training and remain current on evolving vehicle technology and repair procedures
• Maintain manufacturer, dealership, and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with Service Advisors, technicians, parts, and leadership to keep work moving efficiently through the shop
• Take pride in delivering quality repairs the first time

What You Bring

We're looking for an experienced technician who knows the business, takes pride in their work, and wants an environment where they can continue producing and growing.

• Automotive degree/certificate or a minimum of 3 years of related professional automotive technician experience
• Current ASE Certifications
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair capabilities
• BMW or other luxury/import manufacturer experience strongly valued
• BMW certifications are a plus, but not required for every qualified candidate
• Strong understanding of modern vehicle technology, diagnostic equipment, and repair processes
• Ability to work efficiently in a production-focused environment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Team-oriented approach and strong communication skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift, lower, push, leverage, and manipulate equipment or items weighing up to 50 pounds
