About This Role A Day in the Life of a Software Engineer:
- Developing solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope on both current and next generation technologies in support of our family of Surface Vehicle products
- Performing software development of new products across all phases of the product lifecycle from concept development to lab and offsite integration and evaluation
- Performing software development at component, subsystem and system level including embedded control systems and sensor/operator interface development
- Working cohesively on a multi-functional team with exciting technologies and products
- Providing offsite integration and test support
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications - What You'll Need:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/computer engineering/CIS/MIS or a related field
- C/C++, C#, Python, and/or Java programming
- Basic shell scripting experience
- Ability to work 40 hours/week (with every other Friday off!)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Traveling up to 20% of the time
