Day in the Life of a Software/Computer Science EngineerWe are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As an Engineer at Bell, you can expect to:
- Develop and maintain software applications and systems
- Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure quality
- Prepare and update technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross functional teams for project integration
What You'll Need: - A bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science required
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Available to work full time, onsite starting in January 2027
What Will Make You Stand Out: - Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
- System integration experience, integrating complex systems, including sensors, components, complex electronic hardware, and software.
- Software / coding experience using C++, C#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments.
- Experience with MOSA standards / processes: FACE, HOST, SOSA, RTOS, ARINC 661, ARINC 653
- Control system design and modeling using Simulink, and implementation on hardware.
- Knowledge and experience of the most rigorous industry standard verification and validation practices for flight critical software applications.
- Software verification test experience in high fidelity hardware-in-the-loop (HILS) environments using integrated flight dynamic modeling of air vehicle performance.
