Job Responsibilities - Examine and diagnose vehicles
- Discuss repairs withshop foreman or service advisor
- Communicate additionalservice requests to service advisor
- Plan work procedures incooperation with shop foreman
- Provide labor timeestimates to service advisor
- Monitor repair time andupdate service advisor regularly
- Maintain strictadherence to dealership policies onvehicle care and operation
- Complete story and/ordocumentation for client repairs
- Assist in mentoringtechnician trainees
- Attend company andfactory training
- Keep current withfactory technical bulletins
- Understand and followfederal, state and localregulations (such as disposal ofhazardous waste)
RequirementsEducation and/or Experience- High school diploma orGED (general equivalencydiploma)
- 2+ years' experience in a high volume store preferred
Certificates,Licenses, Registrations- Valid driver's license
- State InspectionLicense a plus
- Manufacturer certification
