You'll also be responsible for diagnosing andrepairing client and dealership vehicles while maintaining apositive relationship with clients who return with unsatisfactorywork. Job Responsibilities - Examine anddiagnose vehicles
- Discuss repairswith shop foreman or service advisor
- Communicateadditional service requests to service advisor
- Plan workprocedures in cooperation with shop foreman
- Provide labortime estimates to service advisor
- Monitor repairtime and update service advisor regularly
- Maintain strictadherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
- Complete storyand/or documentation for client repairs
- Assist inmentoring technician trainees
- Attend companyand factory training
- Keep currentwith factory technical bulletins
- Understand andfollow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposalof hazardous waste)
RequirementsEducation and/or Experience - High schooldiploma or GED (general equivalency diploma); or relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
- Domestic brand experience required
Certificates,Licenses, Registrations - Validdriver's license
- ASE Certification preferred
