Essential Functions:
- Perform structural composite repairs, fabrication, and rework on aircraft components in accordance with FAA-approved data and engineering requirements.
- Read and interpret Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs), engineering drawings, and technical work instructions.
- Fabricate, bond, repair, and modify composite and other non-metallic aircraft structures using approved repair techniques.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
- Perform first article inspections and in-process quality inspections as required.
- Document non-conforming conditions and support Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
- Maintain accurate quality records and repair documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize CAD/CAM tools and electronic work instructions to complete repairs and modifications.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure repairs meet engineering intent and customer specifications.
- Support aircraft-on-ground (AOG) maintenance activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.
Requirements
- 2+ years of aircraft composite repair experience, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support.
- Experience performing structural composite repairs
- Structural Composite Repair Certification (TR009348) required.
- Ability to read and interpret SRMs, CMMs, AMMs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment and quality inspection tools.
- Must successfully pass all required screening requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
