Essential Functions:
  • Perform inspections of aircraft, aircraft components, assemblies, and installations throughout manufacturing, maintenance, modification, or repair processes.
  • Inspect completed work to verify compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, technical manuals, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Perform in-process, final, receiving, and functional inspections as required.
  • Verify proper installation of structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior components.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools, gauges, inspection equipment, and other quality instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and workmanship.
  • Identify, document, and report discrepancies, defects, and nonconforming conditions.
  • Complete inspection reports, quality records, and required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and customer representatives to resolve quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, customer requirements, FAA regulations, and applicable quality management systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of aircraft quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing, aircraft assembly, maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), modification, completion, or production environments.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience performing aircraft inspections in accordance with customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
  • Knowledge of aircraft structures, mechanical systems, electrical systems, interiors, or aircraft assembly processes.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding aerospace environments.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
