Job Description
*Growing Private Practice in Fredericksburg, VA Seeking Dental Hygienist with Relocation Assistance Available!*

We’re a patient-centered practice where hygienists help lead the team and drive practice success.
*What you’ll do*
* Provide comprehensive hygiene care (prophy, SRP, perio charting, radiographs)
* Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options
* Collaborate with the doctor on individualized treatment plans
* Use intraoral 3D scanners (iTero and/or TRIOS 5 preferred)
* Laser therapy (if certification is needed, practice will provide)
* Maintain meticulous records and uphold OSHA/CDC infection-control standards
*What we’re looking for*
* Active Virginia RDH license
* Experience with iTero/TRIOS 5 a plus
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
* Detail-oriented, reliable, team-focused, and patient-empathetic
* Strong communication and professionalism

*Responsibilities*
* Create a comfortable, positive patient experience
* Review medical history, prior dental care, and current medications
* Maintain an efficient hygiene schedule and help keep it full
* Diagnose and treat gingivitis and periodontitis
* Educate patients of all ages on home care
* Explain treatment risks/benefits and provide post-op instructions
* Maintain accurate records: perio charting, clinical notes, X-rays, CTs, and 3D (iTero) scans
* Collaborate with the doctor on treatment plans
* Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed
*Skills*
* Licensed Dental Hygienist with proven clinical experience
* Strong knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA and infection control
* Proficient in instrument/equipment setup, use, and maintenance
* Excellent communication; patient-centered rapport
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Laser certified (training available if needed)
* Leadership and collaboration
* Critical thinking and sound clinical judgment
* Efficient time management
