Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Manager 2, Project Management, to lead manufacturing operations for the Test Equipment Design and Software development team within the NIC Division in Woodland Hills.

This key leadership role will drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, delivering high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective manufacturing, integration, and test solutions to both internal and external customers. As a manufacturing operations leader, you will partner closely with Operating Unit leadership, Program Managers, customers, and cross-functional peers to optimize end-to-end strategies, improve efficiency, and solve complex challenges in producing advanced communication systems.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position in Woodland Hills, California, supporting critical national security programs. At Northrop Grumman, we believe in defining the possible every day. What You'll get to Do:

Serve as the primary Manufacturing Operations interface to the Program Office, Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance on all aspects of manufacturing program scope.
Provide overall leadership for proposals, production planning, and execution of manufacturing programs, while proactively monitoring and resolving cost, schedule, performance, and quality issues.
Lead multifunctional teams, including Operations functional support organizations, to consistently meet program and manufacturing goals and objectives.
Act as the key point of contact for senior leadership on all contract and program-related matters.
Oversee all Operations Program Management (OPM) activities to ensure full compliance with company objectives, with a strong focus on driving problem-solving and closure of complex issues.
Champion employee development, performance management, mentoring of future leaders, training and skill development initiatives, and engagement & inclusion activities.
Promote a culture aligned with Northrop Grumman Leadership Behaviors & Values, influencing effectively up and down the organization.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Operations Management (or equivalent); OR Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in Control Account Management and applying Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Proven leadership experience managing direct reports.
Experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving tools/techniques.
Experience leading work that crosses organizational, site, or sector boundaries, including manufacturing consolidations or transfers.
Experience leading operations teams through a comprehensive Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.
US Citizenship required
Interim Clearance Required to Start
Ability to maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a STEM discipline or MBA.
Proficiency in applying systems methodology, Lean principles, and problem-solving techniques.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) management, and/or Agile methodologies.
Solid knowledge of product transition from development to production, Manufacturing and Supply Chain best practices, and deep customer domain expertise.

Primary Level Salary Range: $146,600.00 - $219,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
