Relocation Assistance AvailableU.S. Citizenship RequiredActive Secret Clearance Preferred | Ability to Obtain RequiredWhat You'll Do- Design mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and test systems used in aerospace and defense applications
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using Creo (Pro/E)
- Support the development of environmental test systems including vibration, thermal, RF, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical applications
- Apply GD&T principles and tolerance analysis to ensure designs are manufacturable and perform as intended
- Participate in design reviews, integration activities, and hardware validation efforts
- Collaborate with electrical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineers to develop complete solutions
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and recommend design improvements that enhance reliability and performance
- Support production and installation activities by evaluating system performance and implementing design updates
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that improve product quality and efficiency
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM discipline
- 2+ years of mechanical design, product development, or engineering experience
- Experience creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of Creo (Pro/E) or similar CAD software
- Understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design fundamentals
- Experience developing or maintaining mechanical drawing packages
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Experience- Mechanical packaging or electronic packaging design
- Windchill, cPDM, or other configuration management tools
- Thermal, structural, or mechanical analysis
- Environmental testing including vibration, shock, and thermal systems
- Aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or other high-reliability industries
- Model-Based Design (MBD) or Systems Engineering concepts
- Test equipment, fixture, or tooling design
