What You'll Do

• Design mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and test systems used in aerospace and defense applications
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using Creo (Pro/E)
• Support the development of environmental test systems including vibration, thermal, RF, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical applications
• Apply GD&T principles and tolerance analysis to ensure designs are manufacturable and perform as intended
• Participate in design reviews, integration activities, and hardware validation efforts
• Collaborate with electrical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineers to develop complete solutions
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and recommend design improvements that enhance reliability and performance
• Support production and installation activities by evaluating system performance and implementing design updates
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that improve product quality and efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM discipline
• 2+ years of mechanical design, product development, or engineering experience
• Experience creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of Creo (Pro/E) or similar CAD software
• Understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design fundamentals
• Experience developing or maintaining mechanical drawing packages
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Experience

• Mechanical packaging or electronic packaging design
• Windchill, cPDM, or other configuration management tools
• Thermal, structural, or mechanical analysis
• Environmental testing including vibration, shock, and thermal systems
• Aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or other high-reliability industries
• Model-Based Design (MBD) or Systems Engineering concepts
• Test equipment, fixture, or tooling design
