Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
Expected Hours: 50-65 hours per week

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and rebuild activities on a variety of mechanical systems, with a particular emphasis on pump systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding and cutting, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a proven commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild pump systems (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, etc.) used in production.
  • Perform cutting and welding (MIG, TIG, and stick) for equipment fabrication and repair.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and achieve operational goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shifts as assigned and to work overtime when required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Solid understanding of pump systems-repair, rebuild, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in welding and cutting techniques, including proper safety procedures.
  • Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and workplace organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
