Job Overview:
The Loss Terminations Representative is responsible for ensuring hostile termination work items assigned via ALFA case are reconciled in accordance with Compass procedures & legal guides as well providing timely support to various departments through the completion of work related tasks. Work items for this role are heavily audited and carry legal risk if not completed correctly
Responsibilities:
  • Complete hostile termination cases, including processing for involuntary/voluntary surrenders, skip charge offs, and deceased do not pursue terminations. Assess repossession charges to the account, assigning the asset to auction, and ensuring the appropriate post repossession notice is sent to all impacted parties in accordance with the legal guide. Also responsible for sending deficiency notice post auction sale. (80%)
  • Maintain communication with internal and external customers including Collections, DRMs, and dealerships (10%)
  • Complete reinstatement processing, includes moving funds received post repossession to general suspense, reversing the termination, and ensuring repossession title processing is halted and the title is available to be returned to the vault. (10%)

Qualifikationen Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
This position requires a minimum of 1 year of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:
  • Business-General: 1 year
  • Customer Service: 1 year
Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Additional Knowledge:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in hostile termination casework preferred

Skills:
  • PC skills
    • Corporate Mainframe
    • Microsoft Office
Additional Skills:
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic
  • Minimum 1 year of experience is preferred with knowledge of the following systems: ALFA, FAW, PEGA, ECM
Recommended Prerequisites:
  • Collections and/or Client Services Operational Roles
