Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Process Engineer to join them. You will report to the Value Stream Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia

To be considered for Process Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field. Engineering experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience communicating with internal and external customers, coworkers, and other disciplines across the business.

As a Process Engineer, you will:

  • Handle projects related to manufacturing, automation, quality, and or continuous improvement or 5S.
  • Read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
  • Work and maintain confidential information.
  • You will be the support to the slip ring production departments and Outsource Vendors.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process development with a domestic and international team.
  • Order and support manufacturing tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layout, quotes and continuous improvement.
  • Review and respond to request for quotes on new orders.
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical manufacturing design reviews and offer improvement suggestions for manufacturability.
  • Support technical problem-solving teams.
  • Provide reports to management on daily, weekly, and monthly performance to schedules and expenditures
  • Support technical exchange discussions with suppliers and Moog.
  • Cross-train to support multiple product lines.
  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or operations manager.

Salary Range Transparency:
Blacksburg, VA $60,000.00-$80,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
