Who You Are:
We are seeking a highly experienced, disciplined, and strategic Senior Superintendent to provide programmatic leadership and oversight of field operations across multiple projects. This role is responsible for driving standardized execution, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, enforcing safety and quality standards, and delivering accurate, timely, and consistent field reporting.
The Senior Superintendent is a senior field leader who oversees and mentors Project Superintendents, promotes operational consistency across sites, and partners closely with Project Managers and leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual and organizational requirements.
What You'll Do:
The Senior Superintendent provides program-level oversight of field construction activities across multiple data center projects, ensuring standardized execution, compliance, and performance across all sites.
• Serve as the primary oversight liaison for Owners, Architects, Engineers, and internal leadership related to overall field operations and execution consistency across projects.
• Provide direct leadership, mentoring, and supervision of Project Superintendents, including performance management, coaching, development planning, and participation in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions.
• Establish, implement, and enforce standardized field policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent project execution, safety, quality, and reporting.
• Oversee the development, review, and adherence to project work schedules and look-ahead plans, ensuring critical path awareness, material expediting, and proactive risk mitigation by Project Superintendents.
• Ensure strict adherence to ethics, compliance, contractual obligations, and corporate governance requirements across all projects.
• Provide programmatic oversight of site safety programs, ensuring Project Superintendents consistently implement corporate safety standards, subcontractor compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate field performance related to scheduling, logistics, manpower planning, quality control, and productivity, intervening as needed to correct deficiencies or risks.
• Ensure effective coordination of work among all trades and oversee the resolution of escalated field issues related to design clarifications, procedures, sequencing, labor availability, or equipment.
• Oversee implementation, review, and approval of mock-ups, testing procedures, and inspection readiness to ensure consistent quality standards across projects.
• Ensure that all required permits, inspections, and insurance requirements are obtained, tracked, and maintained, and that Project Superintendents follow standardized processes when coordinating with inspection agencies.
• Provide oversight of General Conditions and General Requirements budgets, working with Project Managers to control costs and drive accountability at the field level.
• Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting from all Project Superintendents, including daily reports, safety logs, schedule updates, manpower reporting, and Work-In-Place (WIP) documentation.
• Oversee and review monthly progress reporting and billing support activities, including estimates of work completed, payroll inputs, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with approved contract documents, drawings, specifications, company standards, and client requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, lessons learned, and corrective actions across projects to enhance operational performance.
What You'll Need:
• 10+ years of progressive construction field experience, including demonstrated leadership over multiple projects or large, complex programs.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Extensive experience managing and mentoring Superintendents or equivalent field leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, safety management, quality control, and cost awareness, particularly within data center or mission-critical environments.
• Proven ability to enforce policies, procedures, and standardized reporting while maintaining strong working relationships across teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Superintendent position is $110,000 annually or $52.88 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $130,000 annually or $62.50 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
