Hiring Generator Service Technicians to support growing demand across critical infrastructure, including data centers, industrial facilities, and commercial customers in the Columbus market. This is a high-priority, career-track role for technicians seeking stability, strong earnings, and long-term advancement.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel and natural gas generators
  • Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and load testing
  • Supporting generators at customer sites or assigned data center locations
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical system issues
  • Completing service documentation and communicating with customers
  • Working independently in the field while supported by a strong service team

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Diesel engine, heavy mechanical, generator, fleet, or industrial maintenance experience
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience or strong mechanical background with willingness to train electrical
  • Ability to diagnose equipment issues and take ownership of repairs
  • Stable work history and professionalism in customer-facing environments
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work independently in the field

Mid- to senior-level technicians are strongly preferred.

Shift : Day shift; field-based and/or assigned data center work. Overtime common based on workload.

Compensation : Hourly base pay commensurate with experience and technician level:
  • Journeyman: $41.10 - $46.00/hr.
  • Generator Tech I: $38.99 - $40.00/hr.
  • Generator Tech II: $34.05 - $36.00/hr.
  • Generator Tech III: $29.77 - $32.00/hr.
  • Generator Tech IV: $26.70 - $30.00/hr.

Additional Compensation & Incentives :
  • Overtime paid after 8 hours
  • $2.50/hr. Field Pay or $3.00/hr. Data Center Pay (based on assignment)
  • Annual bonus tied to branch and company performance (paid Q1)
  • S ign-on bonuses available on a case-by-case basis
