JOB SUMMARY:

Professional corporate pilot flying a Citation XLS+ (C560XL) in all Part 91 flight operations. Airplane flight duties involve flying passengers primarily in the Western United States, with occasional multi day multi state trips throughout the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Commercial Airplane Multiengine Land with Instrument Rating Required, ATP Multiengine Land Preferred

2500 Hours Total Flight Time Preferred 500 Hours PIC Time

500 Hours Multiengine Aircraft Time 250 Hours Turbine Time

200 Hours Jet Time Desired

Current FAA 2nd Class Medical, FAA First Class Medical Preferred

CE-560XLType Rating Preferred

OTHER SKILLS/DUTIES:

These flying duties may also include coordination of ground transportation, hangar rental and fuel purchases. Transportation of the company and non-company personnel in helicopter for the following purposes:
  • Tours
  • Aerial photography
  • Aerial surveying and observation
  • Weed surveying and observation
  • External load operations
  • Cattle herding operations
  • Transportation to other company locations and operations

Non flying duties:
  • Aircraft servicing and preflight
  • Function as PIC/SIC for assigned aircraft
  • Aircraft preflight planning and performance
  • Assist in overseeing maintenance of the facility hangars and runway
  • Coordinate fuel balances and fuel deliveries
  • Ensure aircraft navigation publications are current and updated
  • Attend annual training class and simulator, for all aircraft flown
  • Ensure aircraft and maintenance publications are current and updated
  • Ensure all aircraft and facility bills are paid
  • Occasional coordination of ground transportation and services

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

FAA Commercial Airplane Multiengine Land with Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot Airplane

FAA 2nd Class Medical

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Flying will be based out of Burbank, California (KBUR), with Most flying is Monday through Friday, some evenings and weekend flying as needed to support operations. There are occasional multiday overnight trips throughout the year. Flexibility is needed to meet changing schedules and operational demands.
