Lube Technician job duties include inspecting vehicles, and providing recommendations using SLT software, as well as performing requested maintenance and repairs to customer and company owned vehicles, performing multi-point inspections (MPIs), and relaying information about the condition of a vehicle to a service advisor and/or manager.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor to determine the scope of work desired, while acknowledging waiting customers
- Perform a 27-point vehicle maintenance inspection thoroughly, and advise a service advisor if services are recommended, or if repairs are needed.
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Perform oil changes and lubrication work and check all filters.
Education and Experience:- High School or Technical School diploma.
- Valid driver license and clean driving record.
- One or more years of previous OEM automotive technician experience preferred but not required.
