Job Overview

As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for cleaning dinnerware, flatware, cups and saucers, glassware, and other dishes using the commercial dishwasher and is responsible for the hand cleaning of all pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. You will also sweep/mop floors and clean assigned areas of the kitchen. You will be asked to set the dining room tables before meals, serve beverages and meals as needed, and clean the tables after meals.

Compensation Range: $16.00 to $17.00 (based on experience level)

Shift: Monday to Friday from 3:30PM to 8PM

Location: 6921 N Roberts Ave., Portland, Oregon 97203

Job Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Wash dishes using the commercial dishwasher.
• Wash pots and pans and utensils.
• Clean sinks and deck areas.
• Make coffee and tea, serve beverages and meals, as needed.
• Set tables.
• Bus tables.
• Clean dining room.
• Check and log the water temperature.
• Fill and wipe clean all salt and pepper shakers, creamers, and sugar bowls after dinner and as needed.
• Clean out baskets on tables at each meal.
• Make sure that all tables are cleaned after each meal. After dinner, remove all baskets, etc. from the tables.
• Make sure that the water booster is turned off after every load of dishes.
• Clean filter on the dishwasher.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned.
