Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roll Former Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining roll forming machines to shape sheet metal or other materials into precise profiles. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality production while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup & Operation:
    Set up roll forming machines based on job orders, blueprints, and production specifications. Adjust rollers, guides, and settings to meet required tolerances.
  • Production Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor machine performance to identify and resolve issues such as malfunctions or quality deviations.
  • Material Handling:
    Load raw materials (e.g., sheet metal coils) using cranes or forklifts, and unloading finished products for inspection or shipment.
  • Maintenance:
    Perform routine maintenance including greasing, inspections, and minor adjustments. Report major equipment issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Inspect finished products to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency.
  • Documentation:
    Accurately record production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and quality checks.
  • Training & Supervision:
    Train new team members on basic roll forming operations and oversee helpers or laborers as needed.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (gloves, goggles, helmets), and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of machine mechanics and hydraulics
  • Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications
  • Experience using hand tools, gauges, and shop equipment
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in roll forming or similar metal profiling operations
  • Experience with steel is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment

  • Work environment may be fast-paced and require shift work, including extended hours
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and proper material handling is essential

  • Teamwork and communication skills are critical to maintaining production efficiency

Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm, with OT scheduled as needed Friday and weekends.

Pre-Hire Requirements include a Background check and a Drug Test.
