Location Description

The Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania facility proudly produces iconic pet food brands like 9Lives®, Gravy Train®, and Kibbles 'n Bits®. This location also features an on-site Distribution Center, ensuring efficient delivery of products to customers.

Bloomsburg is home to Bloomsburg University, a municipal airport, and a landmark Town Park offering acres of recreational activities. The town also hosts one of the largest and longest-running fairs in the country. With so much to do and see, Bloomsburg is a great place to live, work, and play!

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Project Engineer, you'll play a critical role in driving capital projects that modernize and strengthen manufacturing operations at Post Consumer Brands. This role leads the execution of complex, electrical-focused capital projects-from front-end engineering through startup-while partnering closely with operations, engineering, controls, and external vendors. You'll have meaningful ownership, real visibility, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact at the site and across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development, charters, budgets, schedules, and cost controls
• Ensure adherence to the Capital Project Delivery process, including front-end engineering and startup management
• Manage electrical and controls-heavy projects, including PLC upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and equipment installations
• Partner with internal teams and external contractors to execute projects safely, on time, and on budget
• Drive resolution of technical challenges while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and applicable codes
• Serve as the primary point of communication between project teams and plant leadership, clearly sharing status, risks, and milestones
• Support long-term site reliability through infrastructure upgrades and controls standardization

This role will be based out of the Bloomsburg, PA facility.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred; Mechanical, Chemical, or related disciplines considered)
• 3-5 years of experience in project or construction management, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical and controls background, including PLC-driven capital projects
• Experience managing contractors and cross-functional engineering teams
• Comfort navigating change, influencing without authority, and leading through ambiguity
• A desire to grow into future technical and people leadership roles onsite
