Quality Food Safety Supervisor, you'll play a critical leadership role in ensuring excellence across our plant, guiding our quality team, championing food safety, and helping drive continuous improvement throughout the operation.
This is a hands-on, on-site position (Monday-Friday) where you'll collaborate across Production, Engineering, Product Development, and leadership to ensure our products consistently meet the highest regulatory, customer, and company standards.
What You'll DoLead & Develop a High-Performing Quality Team- Grow and mentor a team of Quality Technicians - building skills, coaching performance, and fostering an engaged food safety culture.
- Communicate expectations clearly and ensure the team understands how their work impacts quality, compliance, and production success.
- Role-model Post Consumer Brands leadership values while encouraging a zero-loss, continuous improvement mindset.
Ensure World-Class Food Safety & Quality- Oversee compliance with all PCB Quality Systems including cGMP, SQF, FSMA, sanitation, and hygienic zoning.
- Guide daily quality operations, including reviews of production records, food safety controls, quality checks, and product release.
- Investigate holds, document preventive controls, and support decisions on non-standard ingredients, products, or processes.
Drive Audit Readiness & Regulatory Excellence- Lead preparation for SQF, APHIS, RSPO, FDA, DOA, and internal audits.
- Maintain and verify quality records, perform system and process audits, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Track completion of CAPA items and evaluate effectiveness with department partners.
Support Continuous Improvement Across the Plant- Provide technical food safety and quality support to Operations, Engineering/Maintenance, and Product Development.
- Partner cross-functionally on projects that enhance the Quality Management System and plant performance.
- Support lab operations - equipment calibration, daily testing activities, and training in collaboration with the QFS Scientist.
Own Documentation & Training- Manage creation, revision, and organization of quality system documents.
- Develop and deliver training for quality and food safety programs.
- Assist with traceability exercises, mock recalls, and data collection systems.
QualificationsWhat You Bring- Bachelor's degree preferred (Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field).
- 3+ years of quality experience, ideally in food manufacturing.
- Proven ability to lead people and strengthen team capability.
- Basic understanding of chemistry and microbiology.
- Strong working knowledge of cGMPs, GDPs, and food safety principles; HACCP experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and basic statistical concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, influence others, and support a high-performance work environment.
- Flexibility to support off-shift needs for key issues or projects.
