DVM Veterinary Surgeon– Gig Harbor, WA
A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians. This role offers the opportunity to perform advanced surgical procedures in a modern, well-equipped facility while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals.
Perform advanced surgical procedures for companion animal patients
Diagnose surgical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Collaborate with veterinarians and clinical staff to provide comprehensive patient treatment
Maintain accurate medical records and surgical documentation
Support the development and growth of surgical services within the hospital
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Training or experience in veterinary surgery
Strong clinical and surgical skills in small animal medicine
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to high-quality patient care
