Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – $50–$60/hr + Guaranteed Pay | School-Based | East Corinth, VT

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in East Corinth, Vermont, beginning August 2026 for the 2026–2027 school year.

This role serves a PK–8 student population and is primarily direct therapy services (mostly pull-out) with some case management responsibilities.

We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) interested in pediatric and school-based therapy.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based speech-language therapy services (primarily pull-out) to PK–8 students
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
  • Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
  • Manage a caseload including IEP case management responsibilities
  • Support students with:
    • Articulation and phonology
    • Receptive and expressive language
    • Social/pragmatic communication
    • Fluency and voice disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists (OTs), and physical therapists (PTs)
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
  • Active Vermont SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
