Memorial Cancer Center, located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is expanding its comprehensive cancer program and is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical and strategic growth. Collaborative Model: Work with a multidisciplinary team including medical and radiation oncologists, oncology pharmacists, certified oncology RNs, and clinical research staff—all under one roof.
Shared Call Only: Enjoy a consult-only model with shared call responsibilities. Admissions and discharges are handled by hospitalists and primary care providers.
Research-Focused: Participate in vibrant clinical trial programs that support innovation and advance cancer care in the community.
Regular Conferences: Contribute to bi-weekly general tumor boards and breast cancer conferences to support continuous quality improvement and collaboration.
Candidate Requirements
Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology
Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
Minimum of 2 years of post-training experience
Interest and experience in clinical research highly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
