General Practice Veterinarian – Burlingame, CA

 

A veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join its collaborative and patient-focused team. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient
  • Provide preventive care, including wellness exams and vaccinations
  • Perform surgical and dental procedures appropriate to experience level
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiology and in-house laboratory equipment
  • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active or eligible veterinary license in good standing
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to care
  • Commitment to practicing high-quality, compassionate medicine
  • Open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates (mentorship available)
