A veterinary hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its dynamic and collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical, life-saving care in a fast-paced environment supported by advanced technology and experienced clinical staff. This position is ideal for veterinarians who thrive under pressure, enjoy emergency medicine, and are passionate about delivering high-quality care to critically ill and injured patients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care to critically ill or injured animals
  • Perform rapid assessments, diagnostics, and life-saving interventions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for emergency cases
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, and in-house laboratory equipment
  • Perform emergency procedures and stabilize patients as needed
  • Collaborate with veterinary specialists and support staff for comprehensive care
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during high-stress situations
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active or eligible veterinary license
  • Experience or interest in urgent care or emergency medicine
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
