An established veterinary practice is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join its collaborative and mentorship-focused team. This opportunity offers a diverse caseload across companion and large animal medicine, supported by experienced staff and a strong clinical infrastructure. The role is well-suited for both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates seeking guidance in a supportive environment committed to high-quality patient care.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion and mixed animal patients

  • Perform diagnostics, treatment planning, dentistry, and soft tissue procedures

  • Educate clients on animal health, preventive care, and treatment options

  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to clinical protocols

  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver efficient patient care

  • Participate in continuing education and professional development programs

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

  • Active veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of employment

  • Strong clinical and communication skills with a client-focused approach

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
