Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 + Annual Bonus Potential & Benefits

Hours: First & Second Shift Availability (8.5-hour shift with 30-minute lunch)
1st Shift: Flexible start time between 6:30am-9:00am – end time 3:00pm-5:30pm
2nd Shift: Flexible start time between 1:00pm-3:30pm – end time 9:30pm-12:00am

Quality Inspector (Heavy Manufacturing Quality Exp Req) Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking Quality Inspectors to add to their team near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Positions are available on both 1st and 2nd shifts. In this role, you will conduct in-process and final inspections across multiple stages of the manufacturing process while monitoring quality gates, verifying documentation, and partnering with production and engineering to resolve issues quickly. The ideal candidate brings heavy manufacturing experience and knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems. Quality Inspector (Heavy Manufacturing Quality Exp Req) Responsibilities

•    Ensure all components, subassemblies, and final assemblies meet quality requirements
•    Allocate time ~60% on the floor and ~40% on documentation, verification, and follow-up
•    Inspect incoming parts, in-process builds, and finished transformers to drawings/specs
•    Monitor quality gates across multiple stages of the manufacturing process 
•    Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications
•    Perform electrical and mechanical inspections, including dimensional and torque checks
•    Verify quality control sheets are complete and required records are retained
•    Review the nonconformance log and track corrective and preventive actions
•    Document inspection results with clear, accurate, and traceable entries
•    Escalate nonconformances and partner with production and engineering to resolve issues
•    Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer specifications, and internal procedures
•    Participate in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts
•    Calibrate, maintain, and properly use gauges, meters, and inspection/test equipment

Quality Inspector (Heavy Manufacturing Quality Exp Req) Qualifications

•    3+ years of quality experience in heavy manufacturing is required
•    Working knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems is required
•    Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics is required
•    Ability to work 100% on-site is required
