Mixed Practice Associate Veterinarian –  Pagosa Springs, CO

 

A veterinary clinic is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, including both small and large animals, in a dynamic and rewarding environment. This position is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy variety in their day-to-day work, are comfortable handling multiple species, and value building strong relationships within the community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to small and large animal patients

  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure excellent patient outcomes

  • Interpret diagnostic results and develop appropriate treatment plans

  • Foster collaboration and a positive team environment

  • Uphold high medical and ethical standards in all aspects of practice

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited university

  • Active veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one) in Colorado

  • Strong interpersonal and clinical skills

  • Commitment to compassionate, client-focused care
