Position Details:
Twin County Regional Healthcare, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital, is seeking qualified primary care physicians to join our team in expanding our primary care services to the greater Galax region of southwestern Virginia.
• Employment: Physician Group Employed Position (hospital employed)
• Expectations: Full-time in-office care consists of 20–25 patients per day with 40-50 new patients a month, covering outpatient clinic, newborn nursery, minimal inpatient and delivery care
• Current Practice Structure: Physicians, APPs, clerical staff, LPNs, Lactation Consultant, Office Manager
• Schedule: Standard office hours; PSA schedule dependent on physician and administration
• Location: Office located less than 1ml from hospital. Service area includes Galax and surrounding counties
• Equipment and Services: In office lab for rapid test and CBCs, Lactation Consulting
• Accolades and Accreditations: Rural Health Clinic
