Emergency Veterinarian – Havelock, NC

 

A well-established emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join its dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality urgent medical and surgical care in a fast-paced, supportive environment while working with modern equipment and an experienced clinical team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical and surgical care for small animal patients

  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans

  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment

  • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care

  • Coordinate with referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.

  • Eligibility for veterinary licensure in North Carolina.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.

  • Compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care.
