WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

  • Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department to achieve departmental goals.

  • Actively share knowledge and expertise within the department to foster a collaborative environment.

  • Identify and implement potential improvements in processes or products, taking calculated risks to develop innovative ideas.

  • Solve moderately complex problems within your area of expertise and assist with issues outside the department when needed.

  • Oversee operational activities to support the department's short-term goals and manage multiple projects of moderate complexity.

  • Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment, ensuring alignment with departmental objective.

  • Communicate effectively by soliciting input, explaining complex concepts, and persuading others to adopt a point of view, while also sharing your own perspective and rationale.

  • Utilize project management experience to ensure successful implementation of projects, including developing and leading cross-functional teams, preparing detailed project timelines, and conducting regular project review meetings.

  • Drive supplier management, evaluate business case opportunities, and support Pfizer’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion objectives by building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive team culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact. 

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 5+ years of experience. 

  • Proficiency in utilizing the MS Office Suite, including MS Project or its equivalent.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, encompassing listening, oral, and written abilities.

  • Experience in people management.

  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to plan and execute projects effectively.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities of moderate complexity.

  • Experience in developing and leading cross-functional teams to deliver project goals.

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree with at least 3+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10+ years of relevant experience. 

  • Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in project or delivery management within a sterile environment.

  • Holding a PMP Certificate or an equivalent qualification.

  • Proficiency in pharmaceutical equipment and processes.

  • Familiarity with safety protocols, good manufacturing principles, and environmental regulatory requirements.

  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

  • If you are currently in a driving position with a fleet vehicle and this secondment does not require driving as an essential function of the position for 12 months or longer, you will be required to turn in your fleet vehicle for the duration of the non-driving secondment.  Please refer to the Fleet Policy and Procedures document for more information.

  • There will be no change to your current work location.

  • Position is considered Flexible, and colleagues are expected to comply with Log In For Your Day (LIFYD) requirements at site location (e.g. about 2.5 days a week in office).

  • Note: This secondment offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth. It will need to be funded by the secondee’s home market.
